Bring the bigger picture
into one view.

Considering a loan to combine existing balances? Compare the new rate, fees and repayment period with what you pay today. One payment can be simpler, but it does not automatically mean a lower total cost.

THE PAYMENT IS ONLY PART OF IT

A good fit
starts with
the full picture.

A smaller monthly payment may come from a longer term. Put the monthly amount and total borrowing cost side by side.

Try different numbers
01

Interest rate & APR

The interest rate drives interest charges. APR helps compare the annual cost, including certain fees. This calculator uses an interest rate and excludes fees.

02

Repayment term

Compare how long you’ll make payments, not just the size of each payment. Use the same amount and rate to see the effect of changing the term.

03

Fees & conditions

Read the actual offer for origination charges, payment conditions and any restrictions on how funds can be used. The CFPB’s guide to personal-loan fees explains costs to check.

YOUR PATH TO A CONSIDERED DECISION

From the first number
to your next step.

  1. 1

    Start with your budget

Estimate an amount and monthly payment that leave room for your existing commitments.

  2. 2

    Compare actual offers

Check lender eligibility, APR, fees and terms. Ask whether a rate check or application affects your credit.

  3. 3

    Review before you sign

Read the agreement, confirm repayment dates and understand the lender’s funding process before accepting.

PERSONAL LOAN QUESTIONS

Let’s make
things clearer.

What can a personal loan be used for?

Common purposes include debt consolidation, home improvements and major personal expenses. Permitted uses depend on the lender and the agreement; confirm them before applying.

Is the calculator showing an offer from Earnilo?

No. The result is an illustration based on the numbers you enter, not an offer, approval or personalized rate. Loan applications and funding are not available on this website.

What does the monthly payment include?

The estimate includes principal and interest for a fixed-rate loan with equal monthly payments. It excludes fees, insurance, late charges and changes in rate or payment dates.

Will using the calculator affect my credit?

No. This calculator does not access your credit report, connect to your bank or submit an application. A lender may perform different checks when you apply.

Does a lower monthly payment mean a cheaper loan?

Not always. Extending the repayment period can reduce the monthly payment while increasing total interest. Compare the total repayment, fees and term alongside the monthly amount.

Can I use the calculator without sharing personal information?

Yes. Enter only an amount, interest rate and repayment term. The calculation runs locally in your browser; the values are not submitted or stored.
